Got a new dataset for PCGen up and running and ready to download.
This dataset should be all PCGen Version 6.x and higher and should allow the zip to be installed by PCGen
This time I have some prestige classes that have lying around a long while, and are a part of the Imarand Campaign Setting for a while now.
First off we have the Curse Collector, a calling that both can be used to perform good and evil deeds. The curse collector could take the form of a martyr that lifts a curse of the unfortunate few. Or Few walk a path as judges, to determine if the punishment of the curse is still deserved, and passing curses to those who earn it. Some even walk the path of dark harbingers, leaving death and doom in their wake as they travel form village to village.
The Wind Blades, are a lose defensive force of the the City of Braxris, this force is inspire by the element of Air and use speed and finesse to defeat their opponents. Although the don’t answer to any authoritative force within the Kingdom of Adriell, the always been their when the city needed them.
Lastly the Seekers of Old, the seekers are trained to recover any item without the owner or guardian ever noticing, but if the need there is no other way, they can use recover items by force. Because they often need to go into hostile area the seekers make use of adventuring groups provide security and survivability, but often keep their true motives and organization hidden. Although both the agents of the guild and organization are called seekers the roles are completely different, they are both called seekers and they maintain the cover to investigate rare magical items without much suspicion.
Over the recent months I have build some random generators on this site, that can help any GM generate settlements, randoms monsters, encounter tables or even an encounter calculator for Pathfinder.
I hope to build a Dungeon/Encounter generator as well as a random Item/Treasure generator, but haven’t had the time the flesh them out. Even to creation of the content for the campaign setting has slowed down, as the group is playing quite irregular as of late.
So checkout the following links:
Also check out this PFS Sessiontracker some of the dutch PFS players build to keep track of the scenarios, modules and even adventure paths you have played, making it easy for the GM to find scenarios your player haven’t played yet.
Recently I found this item on the internet and whether you are playing Dungeons and Dragons or Pathfinder, Home-brew or Organized play, I think this is pretty interesting. Take a look at this post written by Grant of LookRobot blog. I can only whole heartedly agree with these points of advice.
Also see the other posts he made on his blog, most of which give pretty good advice.
The story of the Vigil is an ongoing adventure, currently played by us in the worlds of Imarand, written by Maite Donker. You can read all about our crazy antics here. You can download the story in pdf or ePub-format. It will periodically be updated as we play on.
The village of Vigilton stood guard over an site of historic importance for centuries. Although the meaning of it’s ritual is slowly been forgotten with the passage of time. This site simply called “the Vigil” represents a bond of trust between mortals and primordials when they still walked the face of Ianna.
Vigilton, is an new adventuring site I have created for use whit the Imarand campaign setting, the players start out as locals taking on the mantel of local militia tasked to protect the village and the site called the vigil. But all will go horrible wrong as goblins discover the place and break the seals of this ancient tomb.
The village of Vigilton is an rural framing town on the edges of the Durnmon Kingdom, depending much on trading their goods in the nearby city Passhaven. Vigilton does, get its fair share of adventurers using the village as base camp before heading out into the mountains.
A while ago I have created this adventure as a part two the the Court of the Dryad Queen adventure and takes the player back the the court to further investigate the fallen star deep within the dungeons of the old fort.
Over the last couple of months I have been working with the amazing artist Kim van Deun to bring some live too the various races of the World of Imarand. Has been a wish from the start to bring the Imarand Campaign setting to life with artwork, and why not start the the races the pretty much define the setting.
We got the Silvain, the guard and protect the life giving tree, and the goddess Iyassia, the Siliban cursed and neither living nor undead, the Madilar skilled merchants and traders, but very deceptive with their ability the change appearance. The Beastmen of the various Sha tribes, and the former slaves to the dragon who have fought for the hard earned freedom the Dragonkin
Be sure to take look at her other amazing artwork she has created on her website.
I must say the results are stunning, take a look for yourself.
Recently I watched the Evolution movie again, and it gave me an idea for a monster and encounter, that I’m currently incorporating into a new adventure, that goes further the court of the dryad queen (L3-T8) ends.
For simplicity the template and monster I have created isn’t exactly the same, but it does bring the idea into the game. And it would make a good recurring monster. The Starstone Evoled creature template that works well on any animal, fey, humanoid, magical beast, plant or vermin creature. While the Starstone Ooze, is a little menace that keeps the players on their toes, when they are eradicating these pests.
CREATING A STARSTONE EVOLVED CREATURE
A “Starstone Evolved” is an inherited template that can be added to any creature (referred to hereafter as the base creature). Most starstone evolved creatures are based upon animals, fey, humanoids, magical beasts, plants or vermin. A starstone evolved uses the base creature’s statistics and abilities except as noted here.
CR: Same as the base creature +1.
Alignment: Always Neutral.
Hit Points: A starstone evolved creature gains +2 hp per HD.
Defensive Abilities: A starstone evolved creature has immunity to fire and slashing damage, gains a weakness to cold and the following defensive abilities. But losses the any other elemental resistances it might have.
Reactive Regeneration (Ex): Whenever hit by an attack that deal fire or slashing damage, it regerates 5 hit points and gains 1 evolution point.
Got the question from my players “Can we advance in a guild we are part of?”, well with these boons using Fame Point the player can advance in any guild gaining boons and even becoming guildleader. This could be a blacksmiths guild, trader’s guild, thieves’ guild of even and organization like the Seekers of Old.
This will be the first set-up for and guild advancement system within the game.
Initiate (1 FP): You are a full-fledged member of the guild, whenever you are within a city that houses a guild hall of guildhouse you get free lodging, stabling and food.
Member (2 FP): Obtains membership in a regional guild, providing a player character with a 10% discount on a certain kind of goods associated with your guild. At the GM’s discretion.
Requirement: Initiate Boon
